Wii 2?

Rumors have been spread around the net that a "Wii 2" is in production.  News of this comes at the peak of the wii's sales, and leaves most skeptical of the success of a sequel to the wii.  Some believe that this new system would be completely revolutionary, yet others might think that it may turn out to be only a little improvement on the original system.  I would like to hear your opinions on the news of a "Wii 2".  Please post your thoughts in a comment.

Game Review: Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam

Rating:  Good
This was one of the first games I ever got for the wii.  I actually had quite a bit of fun when I started playing it.  Its filled with with adrenaline pumping action, involving modes like racing, trick, or slalom.  There are occasionally special events, which usually involve the destruction of your surroundings or beating up observers on the track.  However, after a while, the single player mode does get a little redundant, playing the same modes and the same track over and over again.  The only real con, however, is the multiplayer mode.  It would have been much better as an online mode, for there isn't much action with only 4 players.  Overall, this isnt a bad game, but its not one that I would strongly recommend.

Rumor: Wii Phone!?!

Ok, this is a little far fetched to me...
Apparently,  there have been rumors spread all across the internet about a "Wii Telephone".  The plan is to take a wii remote, and include a microphone with dialing keys.  (See Picture Above).  I'll keep an eye on this as it unfolds.

Game Review: Mario Kart Wii

Rating: Excellent
This is also another late review.
Mario Kart Wii is on my top list of games at the present time.  This game, just like Smash Bros, was gold as soon as I opened the package.  The controls are flawless, except the wii wheel can be a tad tricky.  This game, however, can be played with friends or alone.  Alone, you can work your way to a high ranking by racing in the Grand Prix, or you can work on your speed in the time trials, eventually working you way into the top time trials in your region or even world wide.  The best way to play this game is with friends.  My friends and I have almost spent as much time playing this as much as Smash Bros, and we still have a blast.  The online mode outdoes Smash bros however, for there is little to no lag, and the rating system is a nice feature to display your racing skills.  You can also see where your time trails rank and even challenge yourself against the top times in the nation!
Overall, this games deserves an excellent rating and a strong recommendation from me.

Game Review: Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Rating: Excellent
I know its late for a review on this one, but I felt it was necessary.
I knew this game was goingn to be great the second I pre-ordered it.  When I tried it, naturally, I sucked.  But after HOURS of playing regular "Brawls" or playing the "Subspace Embassary" mode (like a campaign), I knew this game was a winner.  I have played many rounds with my friends and family, but eventually I tried out the online features.  This would be the only low point.  The lag is terrible, especially if you do not have  strong internet connection (duh).  Besides that, this game is really great for multiplayer matches.  Single player is still good, but may get a little dull after a while.  A great feature is the "Create-a-Stage" mode, which really comes in handy when playing against friends.  Plus, the extra challenges make the game long lasting (in a positive way).  Overall, this will be one of the best games on the system.

Welcome

Hello, and welcome to the wii feed.
In this blog, I will be posting game reviews opinions on wii news, and most other things related to the wii.
Naturally, I will not be able to review all of the games in the system.  For those games I would re-direct you to www.ign.com or www.gamespot.com
Please enjoy!
